Self Defense ATL presently sells several versions of the stun gun that looks like a harmless cell phone. We suggest these stun guns because of the element of surprise that they deliver to the attacker. You can carry the "cell phone" with you to the car, on hikes or while walking the dog without giving the impression that you are carrying a weapon!

IF you have to use it on someone, apply the "stun" element to any part of their body (even through) clothes. Even a nano-second with it, and they will jump back, fall down or may even pass out with the almost 3 million volts that some of these stuns guns carry. Then, while they are down, go after them aggressively and stun them for about 3 seconds. That will leave them on the ground for about 30 minutes, which should be plenty of time to get away!

I'm often asked which device I recommend. It certainly is a personal preference but here is the advice that I give folks in person. Remember, the stun gun does not kill anyone; it just cramps up the muscles and gives you time to get away!

	This Sm-Cell is a very dependable favorite. It includes a holster and batteries. Not only does the Sm-Cell have stun-gun capability of 800,000 volts of electricity, it also has a high-powered flashlight and an alarm. For safety purposes, it includes a detachable wrist strap that disables the shock or stun factor in the device,and emits a piercing noise when separated from you. 	This red (or blue) cell phone isn't as believable as the other two. It looks better in the holster (which is included). The price of $44.95 is less than the other cell-phone stun guns, but it is ONLY a stun gun. It has 800,000 volts. There is NO flashlight or alarm. The batteries are NOT included. 	Another favorite is the Pretender. It has 950,000 volts of electricity and is the smallest in size. It also has a high-powered flashlight. Another reason people like the pretender is because the holster can attach to a belt, pocket or purse.
